On the night of March 20th, 2015, the Michael C. Carlos Museum and CoLA presented “Light Experiments: An Evening under the Stars”.

For this participatory art event, Marcus Neustetter led a large crowd in imaginative experiments using different forms of light as their medium. With glow sticks, projections, laser pointers and string lights, the South African artist, who visited Emory University from March 16th to the 22nd, encouraged eager students, faculty and staff to express themselves as freely as possible. The resulting art pieces captured the crowd in moments of pure joy and self expression–some of which we are able to share in this short gallery:
